about pokiq
Built by a player, not by a solver.
Why Pokiq exists
Most poker tools are built for professionals and priced for them. They tell you what is optimal, not what you personally keep getting wrong. For a player who wants to get genuinely better without a coaching budget, that is the wrong kind of help.
Pokiq starts from one question instead: where is your money leaking away, and what are you going to do about it this week. You upload your own sessions, Pokiq finds the patterns that cost you, and your progress is expressed as a single score. The explanations avoid jargon, because a leak you cannot understand is a leak you cannot fix.
Pokiq was built in the Netherlands and started as a Dutch language trainer, for the simple reason that almost nothing existed in Dutch. The English version came later. The product is the same one.
What Pokiq is not
Not a solver and not a shortcut. Pokiq does not give advice during a hand you are playing, because that is banned on virtually every poker site and because it does not make you a better player either. And it is not a guarantee of profit: poker has variance and you can lose money.
What it is: a training environment where, between sessions, you work on the one thing that is currently costing you the most.
Pokiq is also not a poker room and does not send you to one. There are no affiliate links on this site and no operator pays us. More about that on responsible play.

The legal part
The terms of service describe what you get from Pokiq and what is expected of you. The privacy statement describes which data is processed, who it is shared with and what rights you have.
Both are English versions of documents that were written in Dutch. Where the two differ, the Dutch version prevails.
