Where to go with a question
Most questions have an answer on a page that already exists, and this page is the shortest route to it. Where the answer is not on this site, there is one address to write to, named below.

You are new to poker
Start with the rules of the game you are going to play, then the hand rankings, then position. In that order, because each one is useless without the one before it.
You want your own hands analysed
Everything begins with a hand history file from the room you play in. The export instructions cover how to get one out, and the import page covers what happens to it afterwards.
A number does not make sense to you
Scores, percentages and thresholds are explained on their own pages, including the point at which a sample is too small to conclude anything. If a term is the problem rather than the number, the glossary is faster.
A tool is not doing what you expect
The calculators run entirely in your browser and need no account. Each one states what it assumes, which is usually where an unexpected answer comes from.
Your account, your invoice or your data
Questions about a subscription, a payment or your personal data go to the contact address, which is the same one named in the privacy statement. Requests under privacy law go there too.
What we can and cannot promise
There is one contact address and it is on the about page, which is also the address named in the privacy statement. It is not kept out of this page to be difficult: one place that changes when the address changes beats three places that do not.
What you will not find here is a response time, an availability window, or a promise of priority for anyone. Pokiq is small, and a service level nobody has committed to is exactly the kind of claim that gets removed from this site rather than added to it. The method page explains why, with the promises that were taken down. If you are writing about Pokiq rather than using it, the press page is the shorter route.
Two things are worth trying before writing at all, because they resolve most of it. If something in a report is unclear, read the example report, which walks through the same sections with the reasoning attached. If the question is about money or the game rather than the software, the learning pages and responsible play cover more ground than an email can.

How quickly will I get an answer? +
We do not promise a response time, because there is no support rota to keep one. Pokiq is small. Mail arrives at one address and gets read, and an answer that names a time we cannot guarantee would be worth less than this sentence.
Is there a phone number or a live chat? +
No. There is one email address, listed on the about page. A telephone line would have to be staffed to be worth publishing, and it is not.
My hand history will not upload. What is wrong? +
Almost always the archive from the poker room has not been unpacked yet, or the wrong file inside it was selected. The export instructions describe the route per room, including which files are the actual hand histories. Other file types are refused rather than half read, so trying the wrong one cannot break anything.
Why does my report say the sample is too small? +
Because a finding on too few hands is a guess with a confident tone. Some findings need a few hundred hands before they mean anything, and rarer situations need more than that. The score page explains which thresholds apply and why the app labels a result a rough read below them.
Can I get help while I am playing a hand? +
No, and not because of a missing feature. Consulting software during a live hand is real time assistance, poker rooms prohibit it and ban for it. Everything here is study away from the table.
Something on this site is factually wrong. What do I do? +
Send it to the contact address on the about page, with a source if you have one. Corrections are acted on, and the method page explains the checks that are supposed to catch this kind of thing before you have to.
I want to stop. How do I cancel or delete my account? +
Cancellation runs from your account settings in the app, and a request to delete your data can be sent to the contact address. The privacy statement describes what is deleted and what has to be kept, and for how long.
