Poker gets written about as gambling, and Pokiq is not a gambling product. This page sets out what it is, what it is not, and which figures you will not find here because we cannot evidence them.
In one paragraph
Pokiq is a training platform for poker players who want to get better between sessions. You upload the hand histories your poker room already keeps, and the software names the decisions that keep costing you, then builds practice around those. The output is a report and a score rather than a stream of advice, and what that report looks like is public: the example report is on this site, as is the explanation of how the score is calculated, including where it says a sample is too small to conclude anything.
It was built in the Netherlands and started as a Dutch language trainer, because almost nothing existed in Dutch. The English version came later and is the same product. The feature pages describe each part with its limits attached rather than as a list of superlatives.

Four distinctions.
Not gambling
You cannot bet, deposit or win money on Pokiq. There is no wagering of any kind, no cash prize and no payout, so it is not a gambling service and it does not operate under a gambling licence. The practice tables on this site are played against software with chips that have no value.
Not a poker room, and not paid by one
Pokiq does not host real money games and does not send players to anyone who does. There are no affiliate links on this site and no operator pays for a mention, which is unusual enough in this market to be worth checking rather than taking our word for.
Not a solver and not live assistance
Pokiq gives no advice during a hand you are playing. Software that does is called real time assistance, poker rooms prohibit it and ban for it. Everything here happens between sessions, on hands that are already finished.
Not a promise of profit
Poker has variance and players lose money. Nothing on this site claims a return, a win rate you will reach or a guarantee of any kind, and the pages on responsible play exist because that is a real risk rather than a disclaimer.
Whether poker itself rewards skill over a long enough run is a separate question with real evidence on both sides, and it is set out with its limits on the page about skill and chance. That page is a better starting point than a quote from us.
The figures you will not find here
No user count, no revenue, no growth curve, no funding round. Not because they are secret but because a number nobody can audit is worthless in print, and because a company at this size can produce almost any figure it likes by choosing what to count. If you need one of those numbers for a piece, ask, and you will get either something we can substantiate or a straight no.
This is not a pose. Claims of that kind have been removed from this site before, including a research cohort that never existed and competitor prices that the vendor does not charge. The method page lists what was taken down and which checks now run before anything is published, which is a more useful thing to quote than a press release.

What does Pokiq actually do? +
You export the hand histories your poker room already keeps for you, upload them, and get told which recurring decisions are costing you money, with practice built around those specific mistakes. Progress is expressed as a single score for cash games and one for tournaments.
Is Pokiq a gambling product? +
No. There is no betting, no deposit and no payout. Pokiq is a training tool for a game people play elsewhere, in the same way a chess trainer is not a chess tournament.
How many users does Pokiq have? +
We do not publish user numbers, revenue or growth figures. A number nobody can audit is worth nothing in print, and we would rather answer this question with a refusal than with a figure we chose ourselves. If you see such a number attributed to us somewhere, it did not come from here.
Who is behind it? +
Pokiq is built in the Netherlands by a player rather than by a company with a marketing department. The about page carries the identity and contact details that the terms and the privacy statement refer to.
Can I use your logo? +
Yes, in reporting about Pokiq. The mark is the wordmark Pokiq with a capital P, and the icon used on this site is available at the address listed below. Please do not recolour it or place it in a way that suggests we endorsed the piece.
Will you comment on gambling policy or addiction? +
On the parts we can speak to, yes: what a training tool can and cannot do, what poker rooms permit, and what the evidence says about skill and chance. On clinical questions, no. Those belong with the organisations that handle them, and our responsible play pages point at them rather than paraphrasing them.
