You can think endlessly about the individual hands you remember. The problem is that you mostly remember the dramatic ones, and those are rarely where the money leaks away. That sits in the boring decisions you take a hundred times a week without stopping to think.
To find those you need your own data. GGPoker hands it over freely; most players simply do not know where it lives.

Open PokerCraft
PokerCraft is the statistics tool built into the GGPoker client itself, bottom right in the lobby screen. You need no extra software for it and it is allowed, unlike external trackers.

Pick the game type
Cash games and tournaments sit in separate sections. There is no button that takes everything at once, so pull what you need per game type. If you mostly play cash, start there.

Select your sessions
Set the date range and tick the sessions you want to include. More hands means more reliable figures, so feel free to take a few weeks in one go.

Click download
You get an archive file on your computer, usually a zip. Unpack it with the standard function of Windows or macOS, or with a free program such as 7-Zip.

Import the files
The unpacked folder holds text files with the .txt extension. Drag those onto the Pokiq upload screen. Several files at once is fine; they are processed per session.

Frequently asked questions
Which files does Pokiq need?
Text files with the .txt extension, exactly as PokerCraft delivers them. Both cash game and tournament files are read, and so are the tournament results GGPoker offers separately. Other formats are recognised and politely refused, so you cannot break anything by trying the wrong file.
Why do my opponents have such strange names?
GGPoker encrypts the names of other players in the hand history. The same opponent gets a different code in your next session, so you cannot follow anyone across sessions. That is GGPoker’s choice and it applies to every tool. Your own play can be followed in full, and that is where most of the gain sits anyway.
How many hands do I need?
From around 200 hands Pokiq can point out the first patterns. For reliable percentages you want to head towards 500 hands or more, and for the slowest figures such as 3-bet a little further still. Fewer hands does not mean it will not work, only that the margins are wider.
Can I do this while I am playing?
No. GGPoker only makes the hand history available afterwards, so all analysis happens after the fact. That applies to every tool, and it is the immediate reason a HUD during play does not exist on GG, beyond the built-in SmartHUD.
What happens to my files?
They are processed into hands and sessions inside your own account, and only you see them. What exactly is stored and for how long is set out in the privacy statement.
