bb/100
also called big blinds per hundred hands
The bb/100 figure is a win rate counted as big blinds won per hundred hands, which is what makes results comparable between stakes and between players who play very different numbers of hands.
Money on its own says nothing. Winning 500 over 20,000 hands at a stake where the big blind is 1 is 2.5 bb/100, and the same 500 over 2,000 hands is 25 bb/100, which are two entirely different players.
It also takes far more hands to read than people expect. Normal swings are large next to a normal edge, so a sample of a few thousand hands mostly measures the swing, and the number only settles over tens of thousands.

your cards
board
You win a 60 big blind pot with top pair. That single hand moves a win rate measured over 10,000 hands by 0.6 bb/100, which is a useful reminder of how little any one pot proves.
This example is made up. The real one is in your own hand history: find bb/100 in your own hands and see how often it came up and what it cost you.
