Draw
A draw is a hand that is not worth much yet but becomes strong if one of a known set of cards arrives.
Draws are the one part of poker where the odds are exactly countable. Count the cards that make your hand, and from the flop those outs win 2 times the count as a rough percentage on the next card and about 4 times the count by the river.
The important habit is counting only the cards that actually win. A card that improves you and still loses is not an out, and a draw to a hand that is second best on this board is worth far less than the count suggests.
