Export your hand history.
Every analysis of your game starts with your own hands, and GGPoker hands them over. Most players simply do not know where the button is. Five steps, no extra software, and nothing to install.

Open PokerCraft
PokerCraft is the statistics tool built into the GGPoker client itself, at the bottom right of the lobby screen. You do not need any extra software, and unlike an external tracker it is allowed, because it is part of the client you are already running.

Choose the game type
Cash games and tournaments live in separate sections, and there is no single button that takes everything at once. Export the type you want to analyse first. If you mostly play cash, start there.

Select your sessions
Set the date range and tick the sessions you want to include. More hands means narrower margins on every number that comes out, so there is no reason to be shy: take a few weeks in one go.

Download the archive
You get an archive file on your computer, usually a zip. Unpack it with the built in function in Windows or macOS, or with a free tool such as 7-Zip. Nothing needs to be installed on the poker client.

Read the files in
The unpacked folder holds text files with a .txt extension. Those are the hand histories. Drag them into the upload screen; several files at once is fine, and they are processed per session.
three things worth knowing first
Opponent names are encrypted
GGPoker replaces the names of other players with a code, and the same opponent gets a different code in your next session. So nobody can be tracked across sessions, by this tool or any other. Your own play is fully visible, which is where the money you control actually sits.
It cannot be done while you play
GGPoker only makes the hand history available after a session ends, so every analysis happens afterwards. That is the same for every tool, and it is the reason a live heads up display does not exist on GGPoker outside the built in SmartHUD.
The client changes
These steps were checked against the client on 28 July 2026. Poker clients get updated, so a menu can move or be renamed. The shape of the route stays the same: PokerCraft, pick the game type, pick the dates, download, unpack. If a label does not match what you see, look for the nearest equivalent rather than assuming the export is gone.
what happens to the files
The text files are turned into hands and sessions inside your own account, and only you see them. From there the detectors read your frequencies, your results per seat and the margin of error on both, and report the patterns that clear their thresholds. What those thresholds are is written out on the leak finder page, and the example report shows the output on 1,153 real hands, including a finding that had to be withdrawn.

Five hundred is not a marketing number. It is the point at which the app stops calling your cash score a rough read, and the point where the first frequency findings become measurable. How do I export my hand history from GGPoker?
Open PokerCraft at the bottom right of the GGPoker lobby, choose the game type, set a date range and select the sessions you want, then download. You receive an archive, usually a zip, containing text files with the .txt extension. Those text files are your hand histories.
Which files does Pokiq need?
Text files with a .txt extension, exactly as PokerCraft delivers them. Cash game files and tournament files are both read, as are the separate tournament results GGPoker offers. Other formats are recognised and refused politely, so trying the wrong file cannot break anything.
How many hands should I export the first time?
Around 500 cash hands is the first threshold that matters, because below that the app labels your score a rough read rather than pretending otherwise. Some findings need more: a VPIP finding needs at least 200 hands, and a 3-bet finding at least 400, because 3-bets are rare enough that a smaller sample says nothing. Fewer hands does not break anything, it just means wider margins and a shorter report.
Why are my opponents called strange names?
GGPoker encrypts the names of other players in the hand history, and the code changes between sessions, so no opponent can be followed over time. That is a GGPoker decision and it applies to every tool. Your own play is fully readable.
Is exporting my hand history allowed?
PokerCraft is part of the GGPoker client and exporting your own history is a feature it offers. What GGPoker does not permit is a real time heads up display from an external tracker. Reading your own hands after the session is a different activity, and it is the only one this app does.
