Ace high
Ace high is a hand with no pair and nothing better, where the ace is simply the highest of your five cards.
It sounds like nothing, and against one opponent it often is not. Half of all five card hands are high card hands, 1,302,540 of the 2,598,960, so a hand that beats none of them is rarer than it feels at the table.
Where it matters is on the river against a betting range that contains bluffs. Ace high beats every missed draw and every king high, and that is exactly the part of an opponent range that bets last.
