Turn
also called fourth street
The turn is the fourth community card, dealt face up once the betting on the flop is complete.
It is the point where a draw has one card left instead of two, so the value of drawing hands roughly halves. Nine outs are worth 35.0% on the flop and 19.1% on the turn, against the same cards.
Bets are also usually larger by now, so a call on the turn costs more for less. That combination is why a hand that was clearly worth continuing on the flop is often a fold one card later.

The turn is a blank and your flush draw is still a draw. On the flop those nine hearts were worth 35.0%. Now there is one card to come and they are worth 19.1%, so the same price that was fair a moment ago no longer is.
