All in
A player is all in when they have put their last chip in the pot, which means they cannot bet, raise or fold again in that hand and can only win the part of the pot they matched.
Being all in does not end the hand for everyone else. The players who still have chips keep betting, and that money goes into a separate pot the all in player has no claim on.
It also does not end the hand for you. Your cards stay live to the river and are shown at the showdown like anyone else, which is why you can be all in and still win with the worst hand at the time.

You have top pair with the best kicker and 40 chips left in a pot of 90. You push the 40 in. From here you make no more decisions: the turn and the river come, and the hand is decided without you acting again.
